Alvargo Shipping Assistant

Bring Alvargo into the browser workflows your team already uses.

Review-first freight workflow

From the page you are on to an Alvargo-ready shipment workflow.

The Shipping Assistant creates a bridge between browser-based order information and Alvargo Delivery. It extracts selected page context, presents a shipment draft for human review, requests a live quote, and submits a shipment only when the organization’s policy permits it.

Work where you work

Bring selected browser context into a controlled freight workflow rather than re-keying routine order details.

Review before action

Extracted details are a draft. A person confirms and corrects shipment information before a quote or shipment request.

Operate under policy

Alvargo applies organization controls before any permitted shipment enters the authoritative dispatch workflow.

The assisted workflow

Automation with a human and a policy in the loop.

The extension is designed to assist human judgment. It is not a background web-scraping tool or an unattended freight-booking system.

  1. 01

    Pair the extension

An approved shipper administrator enables browser access and provides the organization-controlled connection method.

  2. 02

    Choose a supported page

Use a supported Shopify, NetSuite, or generic browser workflow.

  3. 03

    Review the extracted draft

Confirm and correct shipment details before any quote or booking request.

  4. 04

    Request a live quote

The extension requests pricing from the authoritative Alvargo Delivery platform.

  5. 05

    Create a permitted shipment

A human confirms the request; Alvargo applies the organization policy before the shipment enters the dispatch workflow.

  6. 06

    Track the record

Follow the authoritative shipment record through Alvargo Delivery.

Designed around your browser workflow

Start with browser workflows. Expand with discipline.

Alvargo Shipping Assistant supports conservative extraction patterns for Shopify, NetSuite, and generic webpages. The right integration experience depends on your team’s specific workflow, so Alvargo should validate the relevant page pattern and policy configuration before a scaled rollout.

Shopify

Review order details, build a freight draft, and request an Alvargo quote without re-keying routine information.

NetSuite

Bring order context into a controlled Alvargo shipment workflow while retaining human review.

Generic browser pages

Use selected webpage context as a starting point for a reviewed freight draft where a purpose-built adapter is not yet available.

Boundaries that protect the operation

Automation does not replace your operating controls.

No unattended freight booking

Shipment creation requires user confirmation and remains subject to the organization’s Alvargo policy.

No independent pricing engine

The extension requests authoritative pricing from Alvargo Delivery.

No stand-alone operations database

Alvargo Delivery remains the system of record for shipments, access, pricing, and audit activity.

No universal page promise

Extraction quality depends on the supported workflow and the page structure the user selects.

Frequently asked questions

Know what the browser assistant does—and does not do.

Does the extension automatically create shipments?

No. The user reviews the extracted shipment draft and confirms the action. Alvargo then applies the organization’s policy before creating any permitted shipment.

Does the extension replace Alvargo Delivery?

No. It is a browser interface for selected workflows. Alvargo Delivery remains the authoritative platform for shipment records, pricing, authorization, and audit activity.

Which pages does it support?

The extension includes Shopify, NetSuite, and generic webpage extraction paths. Alvargo should validate the adapter and page pattern for each customer workflow before a scaled rollout.

Is the extension connected to the MCP gateway?

No. The Chrome Extension and Alvargo MCP are separate products. Both integrate independently with the secured Alvargo Delivery backend.
